Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with Meera Handicraft. Please read this Delivery Policy carefully to understand how and when your orders will reach you.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends & public holidays) once payment is confirmed.
  • For special/custom orders (e.g. custom colours, embroidery, pearl work), processing may take 2-4 business days.
  • In case of high demand / festival seasons, there may be delays. We will notify you by email / phone if there is an expected delay beyond the usual timeline.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

  • We use trusted courier partners / logistics providers (e.g. Ekart, Delhivery, Bluedart, India Post etc..) to deliver the orders.
  • The choice of courier depends on your location (pincode), product size & weight, and service availability.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) option is available for many pincodes. If COD is selected, extra COD charges may apply.

3. Delivery Time Estimates

  • The delivery estimates are indicative. Actual delivery may vary due to courier partner performance, weather, or logistical issues.
  • If a public holiday or courier holiday occurs, it may affect the delivery schedule.

4. Shipping Fees

  • Standard Shipping Fee: Based on the weight of the product and the delivery location. The fee will be calculated and shown at checkout.
  • Free Shipping: Available on orders above ₹500 (if you offer this) or for certain pincodes.

5. Order Tracking

  • Once your product is shipped, you will receive a tracking ID / AWB number via SMS / email.
  • You can track your order status through the courier partner’s website/app order tracking section.

6. Failed or Delayed Deliveries

  • If the courier is unable to deliver (due to wrong address, no one at address, unreachable location), the package may be held, returned to us, or reattempted. Extra charges may apply for redelivery.
  • If your order is not delivered within the estimated time, please contact us at +91 9409464469. We will investigate with the courier partner and keep you informed.

7. Damaged / Lost Items

  • Before accepting the package, inspect the outer packaging. If it’s damaged or tampered with, you may refuse the delivery and inform us immediately.
  • If damage is noticed after opening, please take clear photos of the product, packaging, and issue (e.g. broken pearl, missing parts) and send to us within 24 hours of receiving.
  • For lost shipment, we will lodge claim with the courier and either rearrange shipment or issue refund, depending on product availability and situation.

8. Returns / Cancellation / Replacement

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Any return shipping charges will be borne byYOU depending on the reason for return (defective / wrong item vs change of mind).

9. Important Notes & Exceptions

  • We cannot guarantee delivery timelines for areas with limited logistics facilities (e.g. very remote, islands).
  • Certain products with fragile decorations (pearls, mirrors) require extra care in transit; delays or cautious handling may happen.
  • If you provide an incorrect address or incomplete details, delays or non-delivery may occur. Please double-check address, pincode, and contact number at time of order.
